I'm also curious if anyone has read any fics in which Draco struggles with Harry being a half-blood.  Most fics seem to harp on his disdain for Muggleborns, but I haven't seen anything where Draco fights between his convictions/everything he's been raised to believe and his love for Harry even though he's not a pureblood.

I recently read a resorting!fic and it reminded me of another fic I read a while back.  Now, I can't remember whether it was gen or slash, so this may be the wrong place to ask, but I know there was some relationship between Harry and Draco, so let me know if you know what I'm talking about.  I'm fairly certain it takes place after the fourth or fifth fic.  In it, Harry is called up after the sorting of the first years by the Sorting Hat, to everyone's complete surprise.  The Hat resorts Harry into Slytherin due to a scheme Harry had concocted because of something that happened over the summer.  Really vague, I know, but I would be so grateful if someone pointed me to it!

Bella giggled, trailing slightly behind him while waving to their friends and blowing kisses as they left. Once in the elevator Edward attacked Bella’s mouth, holding her firmly to him and pushing her into the wall, grinding himself against her.

“Finally,” he whispered. “I’ve been dying to get you alone, Mrs. Cullen.”

“All you had to do was ask, Mr. Cullen,” Bella replied seductively.

“You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. Do you know how stunning you are? Have you any comprehension of my love and desire for you?”

Bella whimpered and he reclaimed her lips in another searing kiss of desire.


Summary: Bella is a baker. Edward is a doctor. Their worlds collide when Bella ends up in the hospital for appendicitis.
